At last: We finally got our patent!

We came up with an idea that can significantly simplify existing hood hinge systems with active pedestrian protection, and that offers significant savings potential. In April of last year, we filed a patent application for this idea with the DPMA entitled “Hood Hinge with Rotary Unlocking mechanism,” which was now granted to us without any restrictions on the application text. In addition, we filed a PCT application in April this year.
